The role We’re looking for a rock star co-op student ready to show off their skills in video, motion graphics and animation. If you’re the successful candidate (we hope you are), you’ll work closely with PressReader’s Senior Multimedia Manager, and the rest of the multimedia team to create wicked videos and animations that’ll push forward PressReader’s brand goals. You’ll also work closely with the PressReader Creative Lab and Marketing Team to manage production of the relevant materials.
Here’s what we’re looking for: - Proficiency in: o Adobe After Effects o Adobe Premier o Adobe Photoshop o Adobe Illustrator - Eye for design - A strong portfolio and demo reel
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for: - Collaborating with the team and contributing to creative process with a solutionoriented mindset - Creating animated videos and motion graphics for marketing purposes (brand videos, social media content, partner support videos, lead gen videos, case studies, etc.) - Designing assets for animations - Contributing to video production/editing and photography as needed - Assisting with other special projects, under the direction of Senior Multimedia Manager If you’re interested, here’s what we’ll need to see: - Positive attitude - Team player - Ability to develop a creative concept and express it through visual storytelling - Strong knowledge of animation and video production principles and techniques - Demonstrates a respect for company guidelines, deadlines and design standards - The ability to absorb creative direction while bringing unique ideas to the table - A high sense of urgency and an ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to accept and incorporate feedback - Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete assigned tasks within specific time frames - Takes initiative to propose and complete projects designed to engage PressReader’s core audience with the goal of increasing product usage - Proactively improves design and multimedia skillsets through self-education, and collaboration with the Creative Lab - Quick learner with an aptitude for the tech world
