Metal Door Fabricator 1:  Harvey 2512 

Our company is a conglomerate of 7 companies, and we are growing and with opportunities to grow with our organization. 

We are currently looking for a couple energetic Fabricators to join our Doors Department, in Chilliwack BC. 

The Fabricator 1 is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineered drawings to correspond with the required metal fabrication cuts, and he will be required to use a variety of power tools to make the necessary cuts, and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. 

Essential functions for this role are: 

• Analyze blueprints and engineered drawings to assess materials needed, and plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products.
• Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variation of saws.
• Install fabricated components in the final product.
• Monitor quality of fabrication.
• Adhere to all safety standards and SOP’s.

We are open to inexperienced candidates as we are willing to train the right person. 

• High school education.
• 0 – 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Manual dexterity.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication an asset
• Basic mechanical and math skills 

This is a fulltime position
