Membership Community Manager

We are looking for high-energy Community Manager to support the growth of our membership base and help us meet our engagement goals.  You will foster regular communication, events and collaboration between Supercluster members and stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding and expert use of the membership database and ensure accuracy of membership contact activity records.
  • Research and help write member engagement plans.
  • Organize, promote and run a variety of member events, forums, workshops and other networking opportunities.
  • Draft membership content for company website & social media, member updates, newsletters and presentations.
  • Manage membership communications plan and activities.
  • Develop unit analytical reports as requested by manager.
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures as needed.

  

Required Skills and Experience

  • Formal education in marketing, public relations, business, communications or other relevant field.
  • 3+ years of community management and events experience in a corporate environment, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Comfortable working with and organizing data - excellent excel skills are a must, experience with Mailchimp, CRM systems, and event software are highly desirable.
  • Strong project manager with outstanding organization and time management skills - you can juggle multiple projects, prioritize them, and you never miss a deadline.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills - you are fluent in written and spoken English and you enjoy telling a good story!
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision - you are given an end goal and enjoy figuring out the best path to get there.
  • Positive, energetic attitude - you are a go-getter who consistently gets the job done and are proud of the work you do.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and positively with team members in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in web design or graphic design are assets.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
