Develop new skills working with experienced professionals and share our dedication to provide quality service to our clients.

Want to know more about what you will do every single day?
    •Provide administrative support services to the Mental Health Team by administering the Centre's Client Record System and ensures clinical files are opened, maintained and closed in in accordance with department policies and procedures. •Receive, review and track Authorized Release of Information requests from law firms, insurance companies and other agencies. •Provide administrative services to the Mental Health Centre staff including social workers, psychiatrists, community nurses and medical doctors by transcribing a variety of documents, letters, reports, and client data, often of a confidential nature and using medical and/or psychiatric terminology from handwritten notes, typewritten drafts, and dictation. •Perform bi-weekly payroll data entry and maintains leave management system. •Attends meetings, takes and distributes minutes as required.

Are you motivated to join our team? We will be looking for you to have the following:
    •Graduation from an approved program in medical stenography •One (1) year's recently related experience •Knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology •Ability to type 60 w.p.m

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This is a relief full time position and will be available until May 2021 or until the return of incumbent.
