Material Handler (Warehouse)

They are currently looking for a Material Handler to join the team at Surrey location. They are less interested in your experience, and more interested in your attitude, ability to work as a team, and interest in growth within the company. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities include the safe and efficient movement of product within the warehouse and yard.
• Loading and unloading of trucks, checking incoming shipments for accuracy, put away of goods in their correct bin location(s),
• Picking, packaging and shipment of transfers and customer orders
• Safe operation of material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
• The company expects all of our teammates to invest in their own development and provides many programs to support this growth.

1.  Required to pass a forklift licensing test: They are willing to train and pay for you certification... if you already have experience that is in an asset... if it is new to you, but are comfortable learning, that is great as well! 

Requirements

• Required to pass a forklift licensing test (certified and experienced) is an asset but not a requirement 
• Speak read and write English
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong work ethic
• High regard to customer service
• Self-starter
• Ability to work well with minimum supervision
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
• Follow all Health and safety requirements set out by WSBC
• Sign & comply with the company's ethics & information system security policy annually.
• Able to commute to Cloverdale reliably by bus or car.
