Our Delta client is looking for a Marketing & Communications Administrator to join their team.  This is an excellent opportunity to work with an encouraging, creative team. The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all marketing materials for the purposes of communicating information to internal and external audiences. This position acts as the central point of contact for the organization, possessing superior customer service skills and maintaining the organizations corporate values. You will have varied duties in this role but attention to detail, communication skills, superior writing ability, and an excellent degree of customer service is key.

Where is it based?

Delta – it is transit accessible, however a car would be ideal.


  • Update and implement marketing and communications plans and strategies
  • Create, update and manage branding, ensure consistency and the proper use of all branding materials by staff
  • Create,  update  and  distribute  all  digital  and  print  marketing  materials  including brochures, roll-up banners, invitations, advertisements, business cards, etc.
  • Maintain and update marketing material database including images from projects, corporate events and personnel for marketing use
    • Coordinate all media relations
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries for individuals and groups
    • Take the lead on the corporate newsletter from outline to distribution
    • Provide customer service support and acting as initial contact and corporate host for walk-in visitors
    • Receive all incoming calls and inquiries
    • Assist with construction contracts and Construction Department
    • Assist with assembling the bids
    • Coordinate and execute all aspects of new product launches, trade shows and internal and external corporate events
    • Create grow and manage corporate social media accounts
    • Maintain organizations website by creating and updating website content
    • Create and distribute timely email blasts as needed

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s   Degree   from   a   recognized   university   in   Communication,   Marketing,
  • Advertising or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals from different functions and levels across the organization.
    • Experience working knowledge of HTML is a plus
    • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
    • Previous experience with online website management platforms such as WordPress
    • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with contracts
    • Experience with online mass emailing programs such as Benchmark Email or Mail Chimp
    • Excellent organization skills with a strong ability to multi-task
    • Proficient oral, written and interpersonal skills
    • Capable problem-solving skills
