Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish

The Market Intelligence Manager will be responsible for managing the long term strategic development and short term business planning and consolidation function for TELUS, Koodo & Public Mobile team. You'll be engaged in enabling strategy making across our organization, and be called upon to provide unbiased and insightful analytics on a wide range of initiatives. You'll also team up with great partners, including marketing teams, and shape our next reporting generation and concepts.

Here's how
    •Develop complex long and short term business forecasts and models for optimizing profitability of TELUS family brands while also ensuring a high quality customer experience •Manage cross-functional planning for long term strategic outcomes and near term tactical implementation •Consolidate the reporting of financial and non-financial metrics, and development of forecasting and business models for planning purposes and to guide strategy development •Proactively search for business growing opportunities for improvement by developing a business unit list of profitability driven initiatives •Drive change, think strategically and find strategic solutions adapting to priorities changes •Work within a dynamic and cross-functional environment and explaining complex concepts, methodologies and research results to a diverse stakeholder community (BI, Finance, Marketing teams)

    •Positive attitude with bias for action and ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment •Strong problem identification & problem solving skills •Excellent attention to detail, structured approach to research and the ability to develop strong arguments •Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously •Ability to operate independently and proactively, or collaborate a broad cross-functional team •Strong communication and relationship building skills •Deep knowledge of finance & marketing •3-5 years of experience in a marketing or finance environment •Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business casing

    •Finance and accounting knowledge is an asset •Database & data mining experience is an asset •Knowledge or experience on telecom/wireless is an asset
