Job Description Summary

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Setup, and operate chromatography equipment to perform protein purifications
  • Maintain electronic records, working alongside Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy in batch releases, non-conformances, and investigations
  • Support Continuous Improvement (CI) program and revision of operational efficiencies
  • Follow Environmental Health and Safety guidelines, and raise awareness of incidents or near misses
  • Ability to work over the weekend as needed


Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years supervision, mentorship, or training experience
  • Experience in chromatography (FPLC) is an asset
  • Desire to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and cross-departmentally
  • Ability to lift 25 -30 lbs
