ACL is looking for a rock-star Manager of Strategic Partner Programs to join our team. As ACL's market presence continues to grow, so does the importance of working closely with our strategic partners, mid-size to large audit and risk advisory professional services firms all around the globe. Our secret sauce for success is simple. Build a good product, help our customers derive enormous value from it, and then watch them expand the product adoption to all the areas concerned with GRC (well, maybe with a little bit of help from our strategic partners).
That's right. We are in the business of selling software and related implementation services. Our partners are in the business of selling GRC professional consulting services using our software. Consulting firms around the world have done so with our products for over 20 years, so we thought it would be nice to spotlight and enable the ones who are really committed to working with us. We would also like it if our partners were to introduce us to their customers regularly. That's where you come in.
As a Manager, Strategic Partner Programs on our Influencer Relations team, you will play a key part in perfecting this recipe by taking your passion for things like risk and compliance to manage special projects for our top partners while ensuring their continued success and building up our brand and reputation.
To accomplish that, we are looking for someone (a unicorn really) who wears three hats:Consulting: You have experience in providing professional GRC consulting services. Someone who lived and breathed GRC in the consulting trenches. You can speak fluent GRC with our strategic partners. You know how to solve their technology problems and offer creative solutions while getting everyone excited about it. In short, you know how consulting works and how to make our partners succeed.Sales: You know how to showcase the ROI benefits of technology and automation to professional GRC service providers in a way that generates interest and curiosity. When you are done telling your story, people should be thinking: "I want a piece of that" In short, you know how to bring new partners to the table.Evangelist: You are persuasive and your enthusiasm for the use of technology in consulting is contagious. You know how to raise the profile of our brand, our products and our services both, with our partners and with industry analysts (like Gartner and Forrester).
In short, you should have the ability to consult, make new converts, and sell all in a day's work. Accordingly, in this position, you'll be responsible for:Building and owning a program for strategic partners to ensure their continued success while building up our brand and reputation.Collaborating with our customer service organization to deliver innovative solutions and enable our strategic partners.Collaborating with marketing colleagues to showcase partner achievements and success for purposes of promoting our product and brand with customer prospects and industry analysts.
Accordingly, candidates should demonstrate the capacity to lead cross-functional efforts to achieve significant goals related to strategic partner success, marketing lead generation, and industry analyst recognition.
This position brings significant responsibility and candidates should have demonstrated the capacity to manage professional business relationships and deliver tangible solutions and results. As this is a high impact position, being located at our headquarters is required.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT Audit, Risk Consulting or SOX Audit for a public accounting firm or professional services firm
- Experience with internal controls, risk assessments, business process and internal IT control testing or operational auditing
- Experience managing partner relationship programs and results heavily desired
- Demonstrated success in selling and influencing others (we don't care if it was selling cell phones in high school, we want to know people listen to you)
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, ideally with examples you can show us that you are really proud of
- Strong leadership skills - you are someone that people want to follow as demonstrated by programs you've built ground up
- Top notch project management skills
- OK to travel up to 30% of the time
- CPA/CA, CIA, CISA, CMA, PMP or other certifications are an asset
