As the Manager/Senior Architect in the Information Technology Services Department, you will coordinate technical planning for large scale system initiatives, and coordinates the procurement of external services by identifying business challenges and providing solutions using strategic enterprise architecture techniques.

Build on your career experience as you:
    •Guide architectural decisions for the enterprise and develop and implement policies and standards related to architecture. •Develop business and technology architectures and standards that support implementation of informatics strategy. •Translate business practices and processes into architectures to enable delivery of appropriate solutions by ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives. •Design and coordinates the implementation of an enterprise-wide architecture based on business requirements and strategies. •Research and analyzes market, technology, and industry trends and standards related to areas that affect health information systems, technology and infrastructure, and other platforms for the purposes of determining potential impact on the enterprise and the suitability of different approaches in solving emerging business needs. •Coordinate technical planning for corporate large-scale systems initiatives, working closely with business units, functional area managers, senior leaders, clinical and architecture team members to define the goals, objectives and plans that direct systems design and implementation activities. •Provide architectural review and of strategic initiatives with a view to ensuring adherence with architectural visions, specifications and standards. •Develop annual goals and objectives for the area of responsibility, in collaboration with the leadership, ensuring consistency with department plans and authority objectives and strategies. •Manages a team of solution architects and coordinates work assignments, provides feedback and evaluation, determines training requirements, orients new staff, conducts performance evaluation and recruiting

Here is what we would like you to have:
    •Bachelors of Science degree from a recognized University in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. •Ten (10) years recent, related experience in architecture planning, design and development of multi-tiered, multi-threaded, highly available infrastructure.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
