The TELUS Agriculture, Animal Health team is seeking a talented, driven, passionate individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, curious and not afraid to try different approaches to solve a problem. Most critical will be the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various marketing, finance, sales and operations teams.
This position incorporates working through a fulsome product lifecycle from understanding the market opportunity, developing a fulsome value proposition, and commercializing our offers. You will work with a wide spectrum of stakeholders from peer product teams, technology teams and external partners.

Your focus will be on understanding animal health market use cases, prioritizing our approach based on business case methodology, creating a unique and innovative value based product and services roadmap, and working with internal and external stakeholders to bring your product and service offerings to market. You will develop innovative capabilities and services through leveraging the growing portfolio of TAG capabilities, as well as our Ag Data Exchange digital platform.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technology and services industry based product and service development as well as an understanding of the animal health ecosystem.Here's how
•Conduct market and customer research in support of developing the product strategy and roadmapQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Document concepts for new products, innovative solutions and/or enhancements to meet existing or anticipated market needs and present according to established product development process
•Initiate and prioritize development projects; plan, develop, and communicate strategy for product launch and initial forecast; track sales, costs, margins and effects on product revenues; and conduct continued product life cycle modeling and tracking
•Overall end-to-end product ownership of solutions focused on emerging/evolving requirements
•Develop competitive differentiation and benchmarking against TELUS Ag's competitors, as well as growth/retention strategies
•Develop forecasting revenues and units by product and customer segments
•Reimage new end-to-end experiences across all market segments
•Represent TELUS Agriculture with various stakeholders in and across various industry associations
•Mentor and coach junior team members

•You have experience in technology and services market research, focused on creating product vision, solution and benefits to all stakeholders
•Experience building an ecosystem of strategic partners in support of new market development
•Experience in developing innovative products and services through adopting digital platforms, cloud services and insights
•Strong analytical, mathematical and financial acumen skills; business analysis, analytics and process engineering
•Strong and thorough knowledge of marketing principles and the relationships between pricing, share, value propositions, and demand drivers
•Superior research and presentation skills with the ability to present strategic options in a clear concise manner
•Ability to thrive in virtual team environment, provide clarity when faced with ambiguity, and work productively with a wide variety of people
•Entrepreneurial spirit which will drive passionate ownership, process improvement and accountability for the product/portfolio
•Proven ability to work within an environment of rapid change and evolving priorities
•Committed to personal development, time management, and continuous learning
•Understanding of animal health and animal agriculture industries A bit about us
