We are currently seeking an experienced Manager on Duty (MOD) to join us at The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar in Langley! The Manager on Duty ensures all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Prior experience working in a restaurant as a Server or Bartender is required.
Responsibilities of this role include: - Leading the service teams by example and in a supervisory and supportive capacity
- Making guests feel welcome and creating memorable experiences
- Providing exceptional, friendly customer service
- Great product knowledge
- Responsible Beverage Service in accordance with Serving it Right
- Maintaining cleanliness and environment standards of the Brewpub
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure organizational goals are met
- Troubleshooting issues that arise across the Brewpub effectively
- Coaching and reporting on team performance
- Resolve customer complaints, requests and queries
- Monitoring, contributing to, and acting on key performance indicators and other targets
- Other duties as required
Working Conditions: - Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Typical schedule will be 4-5 shifts per week, working 5-8 hours per shift
