Job Description

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Manager, MEDITECH Operations to join our team on a full time permanent basis.

This position offers a flexible work location from within the Interior Health Region and will require travel to the office in Kelowna on a regular basis.

Salary Range:
Salary range for the position is $108,147 to $155,461. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

About the job:
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, as part of the Digital Health management and leadership team, the Manager, MEDITECH Operations (Manager) will provide management, direction and leadership in clinical and health information systems utilization, enhancement implementations, clinical process reengineering, systems analysis and application support, training, project management and continuous quality improvement of applications. The Manager provides advice and counsel to Interior Health senior management and Health Service Area leadership teams concerning the application of computer technology toward implementing standards-based clinical applications.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science, Health Information Sciences or Business Administration.
Minimum of seven years of information systems and managerial experience in a complex business environment (preferably healthcare) including responsibility for strategic planning, development, project management and business systems analysis.
Or an equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education.
