Are you a hands-on leader who knows your way around industrial maintenance like the back of your hand? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy leading teams to deliver their best work safely, efficiently, and consistently?

If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk. Canfor Pulp is looking for a Manager of Maintenance Implementation to join our team at the Northwood Pulp Mill in Prince George.

This isn't your average management job, it's a chance to lead a high-performing team, influence cross-mill strategies, and play a critical role in keeping one of North America's leading pulp mills running at its best.

What You will do

You'll be the go-to leader overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities across the mill. Here's a closer look:
  • Lead and support our Maintenance team, including bargaining unit employees.
  • Ensure work is executed to high standards-safely and efficiently.
  • Manage staffing, productivity, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and technical teams.
  • Take charge of maintenance outages, turnarounds, and planning.
  • Champion continuous improvement across the site.
  • Help build consistency across Canfor's Prince George mill sites.

Who You Are

You've walked the walk in industrial maintenance and know how to lead people just as well as processes. You bring:
  • A strong background leading maintenance teams in an industrial setting.
  • A commitment to safety, with a solid track record to back it up.
  • Excellent people skills. You know how to coach, communicate, and build strong teams.
  • Confidence in decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and continuous improvement tools.
  • Bonus: An engineering degree or journeyman trade qualification (TQ) is a plus.

If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, make a difference, and grow your career with a company that values leadership and innovation, apply now.

Let's build something great, together.

The salary range for this position is: $121,000.00-$151,000.00
