The opportunity:The objective of the Intelligent Automation (IA) practice is to help our clients unlock value leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Process Mining, APIs, Low-Code/No-Code, Intelligent Document Processing and Machine Learning AI solutions. As part of the Intelligent Automation practice you will assist our clients throughout their automation journey, from opportunity identification and initial roadmap to scaled automation operations leveraging the best of breed technologies.
The IA Manager will be exposed to all components of the practice, while continuously learning about the latest intelligent automation technologies. The selected candidate will be part of a national practice, working across a spectrum of different industries.
What you will doAs a Manager in our Intelligent Automation Advisory practice, you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team. You'll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by :
- Growing your coaching and feedback skills through providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to your team and supporting our Open Feedback culture.
- Supporting timely engagement management and ensuring on-time, at-budget high quality delivery of client deliverables.
- Providing expertise and knowledge for full spectrum of client-related business activities and projects, while taking accountability for leading client engagements .
- Defining technical standards and best practices for enterprise intelligent automation architecture and governance, promoting re-use and scalability
- Supporting client pursuits and proposal development with support from Senior Leadership, and working with KPMG leaders to develop thought leadership, white papers and other intellectual assets.
- Assisting clients in defining and embedding intelligent automation strategies, roadmaps and business cases
- Leveraging your strong understanding of operations, finance, and compliance/risk.
- Developing trusted client relationships with client project managers and managing engagement teams. You will facilitate client workshops and conduct interviews with client personnel as well as maintain our very high quality standards, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
What you bring to the role- 4+ years of work experience in a comparable capacity in management consulting or professional services.
- University degree in business, management, computer science, information systems, business intelligence or any other comparable program.
- Excellent communication skills including written and spoken (French considered an asset)
- Comfortable working at both the conceptual and the hands-on level with big picture thinking and growth-oriented leadership skills.
- Passionate in supporting proposals in addition to your project work.
- A deep understanding of the interrelationships between people/organization, business processes and enabling technologies as contributors to business effectiveness.
- D emonstrated leadership experience in working with large datasets, able to draw insights from data, and have a data driven mindset.
- Experience with financial analysis, data modelling, or other comparable quantitative experience.
- Project execution skills including leading day-to-day execution, team management in mid-level client engagements, managing project schedule, risks and timelines,
- Strong at cultivating relationships at mid-levels - Managers, Senior Managers and Directors.
- Considered an asset if familiar with any of the following software:
- RPA: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Blue Prism
- Process mining: Celonis, ProcessGold, Disco, PAF and Minit
- Low code development platforms: PowerApps, OutSystems, and Appian.
- Machine learning/data science libraries and package: Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scipy/Numpy, Pandas
- Data visualization: Power BI /Tableau or any other tools.
