We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager for our Richmond, BC location to manage a team of sales reps for our Sage 50 product. This role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals by effectively managing the sales activity and providing sales leadership where applicable. Manages a team responsible for the following: Placing outbound calls to prospects and managing the sales cycle across multiple stages through a consultative sales process, ensuring diligent record keeping, precise follow up, and exceeding targets consistently.
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization. Understands current business trends. Oversight of day-to-day operations of team and acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements.
Drive the development of superior sales and consistent high performance
Manages the implementation of technical and process improvement strategies to maximize performance
Maintains continuous communication with management to develop and agree upon objectives, training, performance management and career development plans.
Responsible for call monitoring, feedback and coaching to agents, and communicating daily results.
Required to train associates on sales techniques, products, time management and use of appropriate systems necessary to maximize department operations.
Troubleshooting customer issues, handling escalated customer calls and daily team administrative functions.
5+ years of B2B inside sales experience.
2+ years of B2B inside sales management experience.
2+ years software selling experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must be strong in sales training, coaching and personnel development.
Must be able to integrate rapidly with an existing team
High-energy leader with the ability to energize sales staff to attain and exceed ambitious goals.
Background in developing a successful sales and account management team is essential.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills required.
Must have proven ability to coach and provide feedback to drive results in a fast pace environment.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and implement change management.
Able to proactively identify calling campaign trends and opportunities based on campaign results.
