Our Operations Division manages both provincial & national lottery games as well as instant lotteries through over 3000 retail partners across the province. We provide the gaming technology and set standards, policies & procedures across 37 casino properties in BC, ensuring a high standard of security and integrity.

We also provide online gambling through and our Lotto app including lottery, sports betting, Bingo, Keno, online slots or online casino games and Live Dealer table games where players can choose the online version of their favorite games while connecting with others across the province. Our Operations group is what makes it all happen, through day to day operations, project improvements, sales management, facilities, business intelligence and innovation.

Job Summary:
The Manager, eGaming Operations plays a central role in the ongoing management of, providing leadership for product management of the player account management system (PAM) for BCLC in addition to other partner jurisdictions. This position develops and maintains the product roadmap for PAM to ensure stakeholder understanding, providing clear prioritization of upcoming features/enhancements and proactively responds to changing marketplace trends, identifying and advancing new opportunities that increase the competitiveness of

Key Accountabilities:
• Serves as the subject matter expert pertaining to strategic and operational facets of player account. Provides expertise to a variety of internal and external groups at various levels including executive level.
• Drives performance of the registration and payment functions in order to achieve targeted KPIs.
• Manages registration and verification funnel, in addition to payments processes ensuring ongoing optimization.
• Manages conversion optimization for registration processes.
• Drives requirements process for critical business processes including: age and residency verification, account payments & withdrawals, fraud reduction, player loyalty programs and promotional functionality.
• Oversees the maintenance process and provides guidance surrounding prioritization of system defects.
• Negotiates and manages vendor business contracts including service level agreements.
• Collaborates with key stakeholder groups, ensuring that identified concerns and opportunities are addressed in an appropriate manner.
• Sets, communicates, and manages internal and external service level agreements related to system performance.
• Responds to changing regulatory environment, providing new solutions that ensure ongoing compliance.
• Manages operating and capital budgets.
• Proactively responds to changing marketplace trends, identifying and advancing new opportunities that increase the competitive advantage of PlayNow vs competitors.
• Models leadership behaviours that support engagement of staff such as practicing meaningful recognition, inspiring a shared vision, communicating with staff regularly, coaching/mentoring others, conducting performance management, and supporting culture and change management initiatives.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
• Degree in business, information technology, or related discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of current progressive experience in a product management and/or software development related field, including 2 to 3 years' experience in the internet gaming industry;
• 2 to 5 years ecommerce or related experience (including online and/or mobile payments).
• 1-3 years experience using Agile Methodology for software delivery
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Technical Requirements
• Understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment as it relates to internet gaming;
• Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to identifying and resolving problems;
• Demonstrated experience creating and refining business processes;
• Solid understanding of ecommerce operations;
• Solid experience in client/partner management;
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation;
• High degree of business acumen;
• Strong people development skills;
• Excellent team building abilities;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills;
• Strong computer skills - MS office suite;
• Experience in online gambling industry an asset;
• Experience working in a regulatory environment an asset.
