Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Manager, Budgeting & Special Projects for a large Lower Mainland client in the public sector space. Our client is looking for a high performing individual to take on this newly created position on a team that oversee a multi-billion dollar operating budget.
As the Manager, Budgeting & Special Projects, you will be a hands on leader with responsibilities over the operational and strategic financial planning for a large organization with geographically dispersed operations. Your responsibilities will include the review and consolidation of budgets as well as operational reporting for entities throughout the organization. You will also be required to present and deliver relevant budget and business analysis as well as consolidated reports to senior management. You will work closely with the corporate team to guide them on best practices and operational efficiencies. Strong communication and relationship building skills are required so that you can build rapport and effectively influence change. Being a new position, there is much room to develop and grow your role as you take on change management and systems projects.
