We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join Queen's Park Care Centre
as a Maintenance Worker V.
This position may be required to work at multiple sites within a geographical area. Primary Responsibilities:
•Performs maintenance on hospital equipment and systems as directed; alters systems operating parameters and schedules, repairs/calibrates various instrumentation components; performs electrical and mechanical maintenance repairs to heavy duty and other equipment such as pumps, fans, air compressors, autoclaves, washers, sterilizers, oxygen and vacuum systems and kitchen equipment by oiling and greasing equipment and replacing items such as valves bearings, seals drive units, electric motors, fans and pumps. •Performs repairs on plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water supply lines and waste lines including unplugging of toilets, drains and plaster traps. Maintains and adjusts all domestic water systems and related equipment. •Monitors, maintains and repairs medical gas systems, sterilizer equipment, stills and sanitizing washers and records daily oxygen consumption. •Maintains and repairs building fabric such as walls, roofs, doors and windows. Education and Experience Requirements:
