Job Description

  • Managing projects in the trades of millwrighting, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, pressurized air systems & steam boilers on all buildings and production equipment
  • Responsible for proactive and preventive maintenance
    • Trouble shooting/ Modification/ Repair
  • Assists in the design, fabrication and installation of new production equipment
  • Implementing safety improvements
  • Liaison with contractors & suppliers on projects 


Job Requirements

  • Possess Journeyman Electrician Ticket (Red Seal preferred) OR Red Seal Millwright
  • Power Engineer (Class 5 Boiler ticket) with experience working on a boiler
  • Minimum 5-10 years knowledge of troubleshooting & programming PLCs
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a food manufacturing background
  • Valid BC driver’s license


Compensation and Benefits

  • Wage: $25 - $30 per hour
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation
  • Comprehensive benefits plan – including extended health, dental coverage (Upon completion of 6 months probation)
