As part of the maintenance team you will be required to work closing with production and operations to assess electrical needs and determine requirements for repairs and changes.
Inspect, maintain and install all electrical devices and components essential to the plant operating system
Interpret blueprints and schematics and code specifications for layout and designs
Participate in on-going maintenance programmes designed to ensure plant optimization and production levels are met
Maintain and create a safe work environment
Must be a Red Seal Certified Electrician
Must have 5 years of experience in a Sawmill
Allen Bradley PLC experience – troubleshooting and basic programming
Working knowledge of PLC Networks ie. Ethernet, Devicenet, Controlnet
Windows Computer Programme experience
Salary - $40.42/hour + .25c company add on + shift premiums
Vacation: 2-3 weeks (per collective agreement)
Medical, Dental, RRSP, Pension
Premiums 100% covered by company
Group RRSP: Employee pays 5% and company pays 7%
50% reimbursement for safety boots
