On behalf of our client, a passionate family-run leader in agriculture, we are on the hunt for a collaborative Logistics Administrator to provide end-to-end Logistics support. This position is responsible for handling and arranging the customs and clearance for all shipments crossing the border. If you are professional, proactive, enjoy working in a team-based environment and enjoy taking ownership of a role, we want to talk to you!

Location: Delta/Ladner Area, BC

Responsibilities:

  • Arranging stock, materials and equipment movements between sites (cross border)
  • Organizing documentation for all inbound and outbound movements including customs invoices for land, sea and air containers
  • Liaising with couriers and booking in deliveries (goods in & goods out)
  • Liaising with all departments (Sales and Marketing through to Warehouse) and helping with customer sample mail outs
  • Processing courier charges and dealing with any issues
  • Dealing with courier claims and returns
  • Other ad-hoc jobs as required 
  • Making sure courier agreements are met
  • Reporting to the Accounting and Administration teams to make sure Logistics are following the critical path

Requirements:

  • Experience with customer service will be appreciated
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision, be proactive and track multiple processes
  • Able to work under tight deadlines in a pressured environment
  • Be a strong team member
  • Diligent, practical and able to deal with stressful situations
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite
