Live in Caretaker / Maintenance (Langley, BC)

Large Apartment Complex, in the City of Langley, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Live in Caretaker / Maintenance person. Position includes a 1-bedroom unit at reduced rent. 

Perfect position for a jack of all trades, including plumbing and electrical repairs, basic carpentry, and general maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Tenant relations, building cleaning and janitorial duties,
- Perform minor building and suite maintenance and repairs,
- Inspect common building areas and identify required maintenance, including mechanical, security,
  garbage/recycling, laundry, landscaping, etc.,
- Contact and oversee contractors and sub-trades for all large maintenance and repairs,
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. is required,
- Position requires being on call some evenings, 
- Must be reliable and able to work independently,
- Reference and criminal record check will be performed upon offer of position,
