We are currently recruiting Temp Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses for Immunizations and Public Health
across Fraser Health. This is a regional position and will require travel to clinics set up across Fraser Health.Build on your education & career experience as you:
•Providing nursing services in community settings •Applying knowledge, skills and abilities to promote health •Collaborating with community resources and interdisciplinary teams •Implementing and evaluating health services •Immunizing children and adults against vaccine preventable diseases To join our team you have:
•Grade 12, plus graduation from an approved program of Practical Nursing •Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). •Current certificates in CPR Level C or equivalent and First Aid •Successful completion of Immunization Competency Course for Licensed Practical Nurses •Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes. BCCDC has developed a 2 hour course for new nurse immunizers who will be providing COVID-19 vaccines only. The BCCDC COVID-19 Immunization Competency Course for Nurses (RNs, RPNs, LPNs) is now available on the LearningHub. LPNs are also required to complete the Anaphylaxis Initial Emergency Treatment by Nurses (Adults and Pediatric) course on Learning Hub.
