Legal Administrative Assistant, Personal Injury - #3752-D

Our client is a boutique law firm located in Vancouver who is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their tight knit team. You will be working closely with a professional team. Our client prides itself on have a fun but challenging work environment that requires someone who is enthusiastic and result-oriented.  

The Role
The successful candidate should have previous experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant specializing in Personal Injury. You must have exceptional attention to detail to succeed in this position. Due to the sensitivity of the information you will be recording, you must be discreet and sensitive to the clients. It is important you have knowledge of PC Law.

Who you are!
You are an experienced Legal professional or you are looking to utilize your law degree. You have exceptional analytical, communication and customer service skills and have the ability to see and understand the big picture. The ideal candidate must be reliable and can work independently as well as within a team. A strong work ethic and initiative will go far in this environment.

Where is it based?
Vancouver (very easily transit accessible)


  • Supporting small team of Lawyers and Paralegals in the Vancouver office
  • Running all aspects of files
  • Managing files from opening to closing
  • Drafting and reviewing correspondence and various legal documents as assigned
  • Booking trials, discoveries and medical appointments
  • Vetting clinical records
  • Requesting and provide medical records
  • Preparing files for trial

Must Haves:

  • Certificate or diploma from a recognized legal program or work experience and currently working towards certification
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience working as administrative support in a personal injury law firm
  • Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and be detail-oriented
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and tact
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must
  • Good knowledge of PC Law, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
