We are searching for a personable, detailed and process-oriented Leasing Assistant to join our clients’ progressive real estate management firm. The ideal candidate for this role thrives on balancing multiple deliverables in a rapidly moving environment both in and out of the office. If you enjoy engaging with people, are able to think on your feet and value being part of a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!

Location:  Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day correspondence via phone, email and in-person
  • Provide internal administrative support to Managers
  • Prescreen potential tenants, schedule and conduct onsite property showings
  • Assist with site inspection logistics and activities
  • Monitor and coordinate arrangements for suite showing, maintenance and repairs
  • Generate tenancy agreements
  • Process tenant applications and record management – inclusive of data entry, filing and updating internal database
  • Handle pick-ups and deliveries for rental related items
  • Provide reception support and additional tasks, as required

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or related support role
  • Experience in retail or commercial property management is an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; FileMaker Pro experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Able to adapt and maintain professionalism under tight deadlines and changing scenarios
  • Must be customer-service oriented with a team-focused approach
  • Superior organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and vehicle is a requirement
