As the Learning Specialist II, you will own the task of preparing and delivering EMR implementation training to physicians and other clinic staff in medical clinics across Western Canada.Responsibilities:
•Conducting needs assessment with clinic staff then designing, developing and delivering EMR training
•Reviewing and understanding clinic workflows
•Documenting training plans for the clinic and client(s) to be trained
•Delivering quality onsite, classroom, individual and/or remote training courses to customers Qualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Understanding of clinic workflows
•Adult learning principles
•Knowledge of provincial billing regulations and requirements
•Ability to effectively work with various health care disciplines and providers and administrative staff Required Skills & Abilities:
•Excellent organizational skills, presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
•Effective speaker with the ability to convey information in a simple, clear manner while assessing student's comprehension of information presented
•Ability to manage multiple projects and assess priorities
•Ability to be a goal-oriented self-starter and work independently
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows
•Must be willing to travel and will be required to work outside regular business hours to meet key objectives and/or deliver training to customers Required Professional Designation/Certification: Required Experience:
