Build on your career experience as you:
Lead, plan, develop and implement new or redesigned systems, policy and processes related to Fraser Health's Medical Assistance in Dying services. Serving as the central contact, you will coordinate services provided by physicians, site leads and other health care providers and ensure continuous improvement in accessing timely, appropriate and consistent services across Fraser Health. Your well-honed leadership skills will be called upon as you develop quality of care evaluation processes, find opportunities and recommend strategies for system improvement.
Bring your leadership skills and expertise to:
    •Coach and mentor care teams and act as a resource to staff, physicians and other health care providers by providing information, coordination and education activities that ensures effective client-centered communication, family support, and facilitation of end of life goals. •Collaborate with physicians to assist in the coordination of facility admission and community supports for the provision of medical assistance in dying services. •Assist with the development of clinical pathways for clients seeking such services and identify emerging standard methodologies. •Implement methods to receive feedback from clinical staff, coordinate and produce metrics to measure outcomes. •Coordinate the provision of direct clinical supports, pharmaceuticals, equipment and supplies required for the delivery of medical assistance in dying services.

We will be looking for you to have the following:
    •A Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline or similar field •Five (5) to seven (7) years' recent related clinical experience in end-of-life care including two (2) years' experience in a leadership/management role

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
