•Coordinating the day to day activities of team of about 30 staff providing supervision, mentorship as well as performance management •Ensuring policies, procedures and processes are carried out •Liaising site leaders to determine their needs and actively resolve work flow issues. •Acting as a resource by providing mentorship, support and advice as well as determining orientation and training requirements. Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates the LEADS capabilities of Leads Self, Engages Others, Achieves Results, Develops Coalitions and supports Systems Transformation.Professional/Technical Competencies:
•Ability to supervise and lead a team. •Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. •Exercises judgment, tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. •Demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness and effective customer service-orientation. •Demonstrable ability to interview individuals to determine skill level. •Solid understanding of human resource practices, relevant collective agreements, regulations and legislation. We are also looking for you to have:
