If so, bring your skills to this key role, Leader Quality Assurance where you will provide consulting to customers and executive within the Surgical Initiatives & Medical Device Reprocessing department. This is a full time opportunity based at Support Services Facility in Langley, BC with travel throughout the Fraser Health region is required.

Build on you career experience as you:
    •Provide regional oversight, accountability and strategic leadership of Quality Assurance for Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) at acute sites (OR) and Community Clinics across Fraser Health. •Ensure clinical Quality Assurance standards related to renovations and equipment upgrades at MDR sites. •Lead all aspects of and coordinate Provincial Ministry of Health (MOH) audits of MDR standards, protocols, practices and guidelines for Acute and Community and MDR sites; •Lead the follow-up, coordination and implementation of QA recommendations and initiatives resulting from audit findings, including the development of policies, standards and processes to mitigate Accreditation deficiencies. •Support MDR Accreditation reviews by leading all aspects of the coordination and implementation of best practice quality assurance standards and processes; •Undertake the role of key resource leader working in close collaboration with Infection Prevention and Control, FH Accreditation Professionals and with FH Surgical Directors, MDR Managers and Community Directors. •Act as prime communication link with Infection Prevention and Control.

We are looking for you to have:
    •Graduation from a recognized program in Nursing or relevant health related field, •Specialty courses and/or certification in Medical Device Reprocessing or Infection Control; •Seven (7) years related Surgical Operating Room or MDR Quality Assurance experience, •An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. •Valid BC Driver's License, plus access to a vehicle for business-related purposes.
