The Lead Physiotherapist of Rehabilitation Therapy is responsible for the management and operations of the Rehabilitation Department and its functions. The Lead Physiotherapist plans, organizes, directs and controls the department's resources to meet departmental and hospital objectives. The Lead Physiotherapist will perform physiotherapy assessments and treatments in outpatient and inpatient settings. Supervises professional and non-professional staff in the performance of their duties.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00

Qualfications
• A graduate of an accredited Canadian Physiotherapy Program, eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
• Current license with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC plus;
• A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience including one-year supervisory experience and/or training.

• Ability to deal with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and set priorities.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to teach, instruct and demonstrate.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
