We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Clerk, Accounts Receivable in Uptown New Westminster, BC.

Build on your career experience as you:
    •Responsible for providing supervision and work direction to a designated group of accounts receivable Clerks and performs assigned accounts receivable duties including account analysis. •Maintain patient accounts, process patient billings and claims, follow up on billing errors and delinquent accounts and prepare adjustments according to established procedures. •Review the aged trial balance for outstanding accounts and follow up on delinquent accounts by performing duties such as initiating telephone contact or written correspondence, following re-billing procedures and utilizing system notes. •Reconcile designated accounts by analyzing, reviewing, extracting and interpreting information. •Evaluate employee performance and determines related training and orientation requirements as required. •Act as a resource for other staff members according to established procedures and standards for assigned or designated projects. •Resolves bank rejections of direct deposit payments such as incorrect or closed accounts by contacting and verifying personal information.

To join the organization we require you to have:
    •Completion of a recognized accounting course •Three (3) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. •Ability to type 45 WPM

This is a relief full time position and will be available until November 2021 or until the return of incumbent.
