We are looking for a key member of the Aboriginal Health Team who will make a difference in the lives of other as you take an active role as a Lead, Aboriginal Health.
Build your career experience as you:
•Liaise with staff, Aboriginal communities and external agencies to identify opportunities to support the health and wellness of First Nations, Metis and Inuit people in the Fraser Region. •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, coordinate and evaluate programs/services considering Aboriginal client needs. •Develop organization-wide and program specific training tools and resources that support FH's commitment to AH and Cultural Safety. •Develop and implement health programs to improve access and utilization of mainstream and Aboriginal Health-managed services within FH. •As part of a multi-disciplinary team, work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to promote education, dialogue and problem solving of health issues affecting Aboriginal individuals, families and communities. We are looking for you to have:
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant health care discipline •Five (5) to seven (7) years' recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience •Knowledge of Aboriginal Health approaches, protocol and cultural issues. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
