Job Description
Growing kitchen cabinet manufacturer specializing in mid to high-end single family projects is looking for an Experienced Sales/Design professional to join our established operation.
If you have a solid track record in helping your client customers realize their goals for renovation or new construction, with a focus on kitchen cabinet design, we would like to consider your qualifications to join our proven sales team.
Current kitchen design/CAD skills, such as MOZAIK, Cabinet Vision, ‘2020’ design software or related software, are preferred for this position. Formal training/education in kitchen design is ideal but not essential if you have many years of design experience and current skillsets.
You must have several years of kitchen design experience in a retail outlet, or factory-based production environment that produces made to order, fully customized cabinets.
This is a combined sales and design position. As such, you will be expected to generate new sales on a base + commission basis. The sales support staff assigned to help you will provide time saving services to maximize your availability. In comparison to other operations, you will be able to sell more products with greater efficiency and expand your customer base more quickly to reach your sales volume goals, and ours.
In addition, you will have access to a centrally located office/showroom, strategically located in a high growth area of the Fraser Valley, with lots of sales growth opportunity. You will be selling top quality custom designed cabinets that are expertly finished and well received in the marketplace. By consistently exceeding customer expectations you can look forward to the repeat business that will fuel your long-term success as a proven sale professional.
A very good commission rate and base salary, a solid benefits plan, and a great work atmosphere will ensure you meet your personal goals as well.
If this job opportunity fits your qualifications and you are interested please apply promptly with a current resume outlining your capabilities. In person interviews are ongoing until the position is filled – ideally in the next few weeks before August.
Please ensure that your application clearly indicates the best number to reach you (and when) to schedule an interview. Resumes, and all interviews, are held in confidence. Only qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.
Note: You must be able to physically do the job (which includes travel to worksites throughout the Fraser valley and BC lower mainland, be legally entitled to work in Canada at time of application and be available to start within 3 to 4 weeks from the job hire date.
