Job Description

An established millwork/cabinet manufacturer is seeking a Junior Wood Finisher to join our production staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level with a leader in the millwork/cabinet industry. 

In this position, you will join our existing finishing staff assisting with applying various paints, stains, glazes, etc. onto cabinetry/millwork pieces. You will also be engaging in prep work such as sanding and other finishing duties as assigned. You will help maintain a safe, organized and tidy workspace and enable your team to produce the best quality products. 

Your qualifications include:

  • Experience working in a cabinet, millwork or furniture shop as part of a production team.
  • A good understanding of custom wood working production methods and technologies.
  • Experience in the use of finishing materials, modern finish application equipment and methods.
  • A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work that meets industry standards
  • An attitude that is hardworking, cooperative and eager to learn new techniques and practices. 
  • A commitment to punctuality and dependability.
