Kingsway Honda Vancouver is currently looking for a Junior Parts Advisor to join their Department!

The ideal candidate must display a positive can-do attitude and have excellent communication skills while providing the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure! If you have relatable experience with our Honda brand specifically—great! If not, any previous Automotive Technician dealership experience is an asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner; ensuring a high level of service to all internal and external customers.
  • Maintain effective and efficient inventory levels.
  • Answer customer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information.
  • Receive and fill customer orders, in person or over the telephone.
  • Examine returned parts for defects; exchange defective parts, and process refunds.
  • Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain functioning of equipment.
  • Maintain records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
  • Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
  • Follow all quality control processes and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly and with genuine concern for the customer, as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Obtain a minimum of 1 year in a previous role or similar.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to multi task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be organized and process driven.
  • Be capable of dead lifting a minimum 50 lbs.
  • Have a valid British Columbia driver’s license.
  • Be available to work shifts which may include Saturdays.
  • Be willing to follow policies and procedures as outlined in the operation of the Parts Department.
