Drysdale Bacon McStravick LLP continues to grow, so we are looking for a dedicated professional who is a self-starter for an immediate opening as a Junior Legal Administrative Assistant for our Personal Injury Team

You thrive while working within a fast-paced environment and enjoy showcasing your ability to multitask and prioritize.  You will be working closely with clients and a professional team while being responsible for a wide array of administrative functions.  The ability to be detail-oriented and self-motivating while dealing with time sensitive and stressful situations is essential to your success with this career opportunity.  Drysdale Bacon McStravick is a fun, challenging work environment that requires someone who is proficient, results-oriented with a proven track record for success.  Providing client service that is above and beyond their expectation is the main responsibility of this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • File opening and closing

  • Draft correspondence, document preparation, requests, RCMP orders

  • Maintain BF system and limitation list

  • Book IME’s, discoveries, trials and mediations

  • List of Documents

  • Request funding

  • Order clinical records

  • Process invoices

  • Provide general assistance to the Paralegal and Lawyer


  • Graduate of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program

  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in plaintiff personal injury

  • A hospitality and/or customer service background

  • Solid understanding of law office policies and procedures

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Knowledge of Amicus Attorney, Primafact, PCLaw and Microsoft Windows

  • Able to work full-time Monday to Friday
