Junior Draftsperson / Customer Service Representative: Harvey 1957

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Telephone Reception:

a. General Inquiries: Answer questions

b. Customer Service Inquiries: Answer questions and resolve customer issues

c. Home Sales Inquiries: Forward inquiries to Sales department, record contact information

    for follow-up

2. Customer Service:

a. Accessory Orders: Confirm order quantities, verify inventory, obtain shipping quotes,

    collect and process payments, on all fulfill orders

b. Plan Lookups: Confirm factory order number or purchase year/name, review production

    records, collect and process payments, conduct plan lookups, scan and send plans to customers

c. Insurance Replacement Value: Determine insurance requirements, verify home details,

    prepare insurance replacement letters, send letters to customers

d. Care and Maintenance: Assess customer needs, provide guidance and instructions, refer

     customers to qualified suppliers or contractors

e. Disassembly Instructions: Provide disassembly and reassembly instructions, offer plan

     lookup to assist with process

f. Replacement Parts: Confirm part specifications, determine availability, and identify suppliers,

    advise customers of findings

g. Other Inquiries: Assess customer needs, identify solutions, provide information as required

3. Drafting and Design:

a. Plan Review: Ensure all dimensions, elevations, and foundation plans are correct.

b. Bill of Materials: Check Bill of Materials to ensure all materials are included in Factory


c. Purchasing: Find new suppliers for materials, obtain three quotes for stock items and for

    orders that have been placed.

d. Plan Deposits: Draw plans from scratch. Interact with customer through email and/or


e. Digital Renderings: Use AutoCAD 2014 / Revit or Sketchup for new renderings and new


4. Other Duties:

a. Office Organization: Assist with office organization and records management

b. Historical Plans: Reorganize and index historical plans

This is a fulltime position.

Salary is open depending on experience.
