 The Firm continues to grow, so we are looking for an independent, dedicated professional for an immediate opening as a Junior Accountant – Billing Clerk for our Litigation department.

This is a junior role with huge growth potential.  You will work independently and with the Accounting Manager, while being primarily responsible for the Litigation department’s invoicing. This role will eventually grow into being accountable for a wide array of accounting functions.

You thrive while working within a fast-paced environment and enjoy showcasing your ability to multitask and prioritize.   The ability to be detail-oriented and self-motivating while dealing with demanding situations is essential to your success with this career opportunity.

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or equivalent work experience with basic accounting procedures

  • Experience in a legal office or professional service firm

  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in litigation

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Knowledge of Amicus Attorney, Primafact, PCLaw and Microsoft Windows

  • Able to work full-time Monday to Friday
