Description: BC Cancer - Abbotsford is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for 1-year medical oncology fellowship in GU oncology. BC Cancer - Abbotsford is one of the five regional cancer centres in British Columbia, Canada, with 12 medical oncologists and 8 radiation oncologists. With rapidly growing and diverse population and a large catchment area, Abbotsford region is only 50 minute drive from Vancouver.

The selected fellow will spend 50% of time in outpatient clinics managing patients with genitourinary (GU) cancers. The fellow will have an opportunity to manage patients with one or two more tumour sites in addition to GU, depending on the interest and educational need of the fellow. The fellow will spend 50% of time in health services research in GU oncology as well as other relevant research projects. There will be a potential opportunity for multidisciplinary exposure and multicentre experience.

Eligibility: The fellow will have completed medical oncology residency training by start date of fellowship, no later than July 1, 2020.
