This role is a part of SAP’s Internship Experience Project (iXp). Purpose & Objective of Position

We are looking for a talented design-focused individual to join our SAP Analytics Cloud Product Management team. This individual should understand design principles of UX, and analytics reporting.

 

Expectations & Tasks

Among other responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Create visually stunning and functional SAP Analytics Cloud Stories and Digital Boardroom Presentations for demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Design graphics for presentation slides and reports across all of Analytics
  • Use creative skillset to reinvent existing content materials
  • Research and specify customer market requirements
  • Lead and support market and customer requirements investigations

 

You understand design principles for aesthetically pleasing visuals, are technically proficient, very aware of technology market trends and have strong communication skills. In a fast-paced environment, you will continually be challenged. Using your strong communication and problem solving skills, you will make important contributions to SAP’s success. You enjoy helping people and are enthusiastic to learn more about SAP and analytics software.

 

Important focus areas for your role will include:
  • Disseminating information and creating stunning and functional analytics dashboards for external demonstrations.
  • Collecting, analyzing and disseminating styling requirements provided through multiple channels
  • Sourcing and organizing analytics capability information for SAP Analytics Cloud from other Product Managers, Product Experts and Development Leads to help maintain up to date Roadmap and What’s New presentations
  • Managing Jam collaboration sites to disseminate information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provisioning SAP Analytics Cloud tenants for both internal and external trial use

 

These focus areas will require that you utilize your design, analytical, organizational, business and communication skills and undertake requirements prioritization challenges in your capacity as a voice of the market specialist within the team. This is an outstanding opportunity for students interested in product management, product strategy and market strategy.

 

Skills / Competencies
  • Outstanding English communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Background in UX, design, business intelligence, financial planning and/or data science
  • Experience with using the Adobe Suite for graphics, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and other reporting tools
  • Adaptable and able to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with technologies applicable to analytics and enterprise software, geospatial, visualizations, predictive, set analysis, planning, etc. is an asset
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Nice-to-haves: artistic abilities with sketching and video editing

 

Educational Requirements
  • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program that is applicable to this position

 

Qualifications    
  • Prior work experience, especially as a business or financial analyst or MIS resource is an asset
  • Can commit for an 8 month full time internship starting january 2018 in our SAP Vancouver office
