IT Service Level Management Analyst

Do you have a purchasing or contract administration background with good fundamentals of supplier relationship management? In this role, IT vendor contract administration experience is an advantage, however, if your procurement and contract management experience includes specialist knowledge of service level management, you’ll be a good fit for this position as well.


We’re looking for a service level management analyst to support our IT managers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT vendor contracts to ensure business deliverables are met. What you’ll do

As an IT service level management analyst you will:

  • Facilitate the development of service level requirements to ensure supplier performance meets IT stakeholder expectations
  • Conduct ongoing supplier management activities including ensuring supplier compliance with reporting and contract terms
  • Be the first point of contact with business managers to resolve supplier issues
  • Coordinate the supplier review processes including data collection, analysis, and formulating recommendations
  • Prepare and present supplier performance reports and dashboards and escalate unresolved issues
  • Monitor vendor contracts across the division to find ways to gain efficiencies and recommend cost effective improvements

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Lead meetings and facilitate conflict resolution, using tact and diplomacy
  • Ask pertinent questions, summarize and verify data, analyze technical, statistical and financial information, and make recommendations based on the information and data
  • Create and deliver presentations and communicate complex technical information (verbally and in writing) to a wide variety of audiences
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with individuals and teams, displaying professionalism, discretion, and patience


Your experience and educational background:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of six years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or other business experience that includes the fundamentals of supplier relationship management, preferably in an IT environment
  • Specialist knowledge of service level management including contract elements, support, maintenance, pricing, and costing
  • Knowledge of IT functions including software, hardware, licensing, and support maintenance processes
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation from the Supply Chain Management Association (or equivalent body from outside of Canada) is an asset
  • Proficiently use spreadsheet and presentation software
