Job Summary
The Team
The Digital Analytic Reporting Technologies (DART) Team, which oversees the primary delivery mechanism for reporting from the Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting Division. The team leads and directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of major long-term projects on reporting technologies, including overseeing sub-projects and/or multiple delivery components. The team consists of client-oriented experts from a diverse range of backgrounds including user experience design, agile project management, business intelligence reporting, and health information.
The Role
As Product Manager, Metadata, you will collaborate with three members in the Metaspace product team, as well as two other product teams and an operations team within DART. Additionally, you will engage with metadata teams from other branches, information technology branch, and various analytic teams in the division, along with external partners in the health sector. About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until November 30th, 2025. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to three (3) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Master's degree in a computer science related field and three (3) years of related experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field and four (4) years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in a computer science related field and five (5) years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in a computer science related field and six (6) years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include all of the following:
- Experience using user-centered design practices in the development of digital products and services.
- Experience in assessing customer/client requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions.
- Experience coordinating resolution of technical and business problems while managing multiple partners and priorities.
- Experience using modern agile project management practices, open-source development and cloud platforms to design, deliver and continuously improve high quality digital products and services.
- Experience leading change management initiatives across a large organization.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in one (1) or more of the following:
- Experience with Ministry of Health data.
- Experience in designing and implementing meta data management solutions.
