Job Summary
Bring your dedication to this senior opportunityThe Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting Division (HSIAR) sets the foundation for the delivery of high-quality health sector information, analytics and reporting. The Division leads key information management functions including data stewardship, governance, security, access, analytics and reporting, quality assurance, performance measurement and evaluations functions.
This role provides expert data analysis, data design, data modeling and data quality services. The successful applicant will develop data architecture, data standards and data policies to ensure integrity for the data resource and leadership in managing information as a valuable, sustainable asset.
Job Requirements: Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Health Science or a related field and 4 years of related experience*; OR
- Diploma in Computer Science, Health Science or a related field and 5 years of related experience*; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and 8 years or more years of related experience*.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with relational and multi-dimensional database systems, Structured Query Language (SQL), data modelling, data integration, data management principles, and documentation of business requirements.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in data warehouse processes and services.
*Related experience must include the following: - Experience managing projects and leading project teams.
- Experience with analytical and extraction software (e.g., Power BI, SAS, SQL, MicroStrategy, Oracle).
- Experience with data quality improvement initiatives including identifying, analyzing, and reporting data using SQL.
- Experience in defining a data quality framework and data quality dimensions.
