Our client provides engineering and service capabilities from conception, design, and construction through to facility management across the globe. Their business is to provide their clients a range of services that includes hard and soft facility management, life cycle planning and project delivery within both the public and private sectors. A core part of this business is to provide performance services such as - strategic carbon planning, energy compliance and procurement, installation and maintenance.

Your new role
As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing high volumes in goods in plant services and Housekeeping goods; ensuring inventory database is updated daily and accurate monthly inventory reconciliations. The Inventory Controller position is essential to ensuring processes are followed in line with company strategy and that the systems are used correctly enabling accurate reporting. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Creating purchase order requisitions to replenish inventory levels ensuring most cost-effective replenishment, Receive and validate receipts against appropriate documentation and count physical inventory regularly, Prepare weekly/monthly reports and statistics to Plant Services and Housekeeping departments as required, Work with departmental peers, implement control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies and develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the inventory management operations.

What you'll need to succeed
As the Mechanical Supervisor, your knowledge on Building Mechanical Systems (BMS) is critical to the functionality of the Surrey-based properties, and your knowledge of managing and reducing energy consumption is crucial. With at least 5 years related operations experience within a large (preferably P3) environment, you will bring comprehensive knowledge of commissioning and programming control systems. A power engineering certification and/or a professional facilities and energy management related designations (EMS,CEM, BMCS, FMP). Experience in leading a team with a diverse skill set by communicating in a professional and business appropriate manner, along with a natural aptitude for mathematics
