We are looking for an Interviewer / Recruitment Assistant for our downtown Vancouver office on a 3-month temporary basis, with the possibility of going into a permanent position in the New Year.

The Interviewer / Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for high volume interviewing within a small Vancouver office. This position requires an energetic, smart, articulate, enthusiastic, and proactive individual with a flair for creating extraordinary guest experiences. Proper business-like attire is required. The job description is subject to modification from time to time. 

This position is an internal role working Downtown Vancouver and is open to all qualified candidates that may be seeking either permanent, temporary or contract work. Travellers with valid Work Permits can also apply.

Responsibilities

  • High volume interviewing of temporary staffing candidates
  • Administration of candidate testing
  • Pre-screening candidates using telephone interview skills
  • Booking in candidate interviews
  • Handling walk-in job seekers
  • Candidate Registrations
  • Entry Level permanent Candidate Interviews
  • Maintaining candidate filing and candidate document control systems
  • Data Entry
  • Reference checks


Qualifications

  • University Degree or Post-Secondary diploma
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and basic Excel
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment
  • Ability to perform a high volume of interviews daily
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Basic Administrative, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, writing skills, professional demeanour and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills and personal integrity
  • Friendly, energetic, happy and outgoing people person 
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Attention to Detail
