Intermediate to Senior CNC Machinist: Harvey 2510

Experience Required:

We are currently looking for a Lead Intermediate to Senior CNC Machinist, with 5 years plus of current working experience, and preferably with a Red Seal Ticket.

As the CNC Operator, you will be our ideal candidate if you are able to read and analyze blueprints, read G-Code, machine plastics, steel, non-ferrous bar stock, and castings, communicate material and/or program needs, and execute quality control.

Of particular value to us is, your ability to focus on collaborating with supervisors, management, and other team members, to achieve company goals.

Duties:

• Safe working habits, with a healthy sense of urgency.
• Program, Set-up and operate various CNC machines, vertical mills and lathes.
• Live tooling lathe experience
• Determine tooling, tool-paths, setup methods and fixtures, to produce parts in most efficient manner
• Able to learn and work with MRP system
• MasterCam software experience would be an asset (but not necessary)
• Execute work orders relative to the scheduled due dates
• Embrace collaboration; accept suggestions, and a mentality of continual improvement
• Organize the production area’s workflow.
• Ensure resources are effectively utilized
• Be accountable for final product quality
• Work within tight tolerances (.005”)
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a fulltime position from Monday- Friday - 6:30 A.M. - 2:45 P.M.
