Reputable Engineering Firm located in Burnaby is looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer up to $100k.

Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the Structural Engineering Manager on various upcoming projects. You will be working on a large bridge project that is upcoming to start and have the opportunity to work on various projects after that as well. You will be writing reports and proposals for the projects and performing construction inspections. You will also be involved in cost estimating and contract administration. You will be checking and reviewing calculations along with preparing tender specifications and contract documents. You will have the opportunity to be involved in structural analysis and implement your design knowledge into the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed at this role, you will have a strong background in structural engineering and planning. You will have previously worked on a bridges and be highly proficient with AutoCAD. You will have strong communication skills and have experience with seismic design. Experience with other heavy civil projects will also be an asset. You will have strong working knowledge of structural analysis programs and have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
