As an Intermediate or Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will leverage your project management skills to ensure stability and quality of non-production systems and provide guidance to projects and applications utilizing middleware IT portfolio. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to champion successful releases which will deliver new capabilities for the systems that power TELUS products and services.Here's how
•Manage all aspects of the test environments over the entire release life cycle
•Partner extensively with multiple D&S teams and ensure all deliverables contribute to an integrated end-to-end solution
•Responsible for daily hygiene of test environments and assist with speedy resolution of all defects
•Initiate, assist, and drive to resolution on complex issues
•Review, negotiate, and advise on scheduling of test environments supporting concurrent releases and projects
•Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) team during sprint and release cycles
•Responsible for creation and delivery of environment metrics, such as uptime and change statistics
•Dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies, and change
•Ensure deliverables adhere to or exceed service level agreements (SLAs)Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Valued for your project management and/or QA and problem management experience with understanding of QA testing lifecycle
•Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT
•Acknowledged for your experience as part of a development and support technical team and/or worked closely with such teams
•Distinguished for your problem resolutions skills and experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
•Commended for your strong interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills
•Regarded for your strong negotiation skills
•Skilled in resource management
•Expert with Microsoft (MS) Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
•Committed to work hours outside of the regular work week including weekends and evenings when necessary which is 10% to 20% of the time
•University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Great-to-haves
•Experience with Agile development and/or automated testing
•Exposure to scheduling and automation tools
