As a key member of the Information Technology team, you develop, maintain, and support the Cognos suite of BI tools including Enterprise Planning. As an innovative trouble-shooter, you provide Cognos application support and diagnose complex application problems within the Finance, Human Resources, Business and Maintenance Applications. You work with Business Analysts, Developers and Architects to understand business requirements, and to develop detailed design specifications. You assist in diagnosing and correcting problems related to infrastructure and databases, and also assist with IBM Cognos server software installations, upgrades and testing, as well as configure models of packaged applications.

You have strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills, with an ability to consistently achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. You drive toward results, and ensure high-quality standards are met. You have the ability to apply original and innovative thinking to produce new ideas and create innovative solutions.

You have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, or an IT related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience in Information Technology. You have experience working in a BI role, including experience with Cognos Report and Query Studio, Cube Design and development, Framework Manager Modelling and ETL tools (Data Stage).

Experience with the Microsoft Power BI, Enterprise Planning and knowledge of the ITIL framework would be an asset.
